The cigar connector didn't solve my particular instance however fear not with the replacement of the faulty cigar Oasis unit you have cemented a loyal customer!!
Needed new ribbon. Working fine now.

Had a problem with my oasis 6 months after I bought it. Contacted customer service - the young lady , service rep, immediately diagnosed the problem and ordered the part I needed. When I told her we were in Florida and wouldn't be back until spring to try the new part. She then told me - no matter what they would stand behind the product . Kudos and thank you
